Jayda Releases Debut Single, Music Video “Text”

Rising singer Jayda debuted her first single “Text” along with its youthful music video recently under Star Music.

This is the first major project of the 14-year-old singer, Star Music’s newest prodigy who just joined the record label’s wide roster of talented musical artists.

During the music video launch of “Text,” Jayda revealed that she wrote the songs when she was only 12 years old. “I’ve been waiting for this for so long. It’s like a dream come true for me,” she shared.

Star Music’s audio content head and music producer Jonathan Manalo gushed on how he was in awe of Jayda. “If she could write songs of this quality at only 12, how much more when she turns 15 or 17? I’m really blown away by the quality of her songwriting and craftsmanship,” expressed Jonathan.

The single, “Text,” is part of Jayda’s upcoming EP entitled “In My Room” which contains five original tracks, all written, performed, and co-produced by the young singer herself.

Jayda’s first single “Text” is now available for download via Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon, while her music video is up on Star Music’s official YouTube page.
