The City Government of Biñan recognized Laguna Water as one of the City’s top 10 corporations in terms of tax payment at the recently held 2nd City of Life Awards last May 18 at the Biñan People’s Center, City Hall Compound in Biñan, Laguna.

Biñan, a first class city in Laguna, is a growing business district in the South. It is home to fast-growing establishments and industries that contribute to the city’s economic growth and development.

Laguna Water General Manager and Chief Operating Officer Shoebe Caong expressed her gratitude for the citation given to the company. “This recognition is a testament of the trust and confidence of the City and its people on Laguna Water as their water service provider. In return, we further strengthen our commitment to provide our customers excellent services that they deserve.”

This is the second time that Laguna Water has been recognized as one of Biñan’s outstanding business taxpayers.

Earlier this month, Laguna Water executives paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Walfredo “Arman” Dimaguila to discuss about the company’s projects for the City.

Currently, around 100,000 residential and commercial establishments in the cities of Biñan, Santa Rosa, and Cabuyao are connected to the water supply network of Laguna Water. The company is providing water and wastewater or used water services to Laguna Technopark, one of the biggest industrial parks in the Philippines located in Biñan.

A successful partnership between the Provincial Government of Laguna and Manila Water, Laguna Water is poised to provide used water services in the entire Province of Laguna this year.
