Witness Manny Pacquiao return to the ring to challenge Lucas “La Maquina” Matthysse for the WBA welterweight title live on July 14, 9 AM, via SKY Sports Pay-Per-View (PPV). Early sign-ups on SKY Sports Pay Per View get a discount.

Pacman expressed his enthusiasm to face the Argentine Boxer saying “I am excited. The fans are excited. Malaysia is ready. Let’s get on with this fight,” in an article posted by sports.abs-cbn.com.

He also said that age does not matter for him and he still wanted to be a champion again. “I don’t think about my age. My motivation going to this fight is I want to be a world champion again,” Pacquiao told ABS-CBN’s Dyan Castillejo.

Boxing experts emphasized this fight will be a dangerous one for the Filipino superstar because the Argentinean boxer is riding a hot streak in his career with Matthyse publicly announcing he is aiming to knock out the boxing icon in a push to punctuate the legend’s career.

This is the 69th fight of Pacquiao (59-7-2,38 KOs), and the first under new head trainer Buboy Fernandez, who replaced legendary coach Freddie Roach.

For all SKY digital subscribers nationwide, don’t miss the chance to catch the action live as the pioneer in Cable TV is giving away an early bird price discount for the “Fight of the Champions: Pacquiao vs Matthyse” on SKY Sports PPV. SKY subscribers who will be getting the PPV until June 15 will only have to pay an early bird rate of Php 850. This is available to all SKYcable, One SKY, and SKYdirect subscribers nationwide.

By subscribing to the Pacquiao vs Matthysse PPV, subscribers will have access to the live, commercial-free and in high or standard definition viewing of the Fight of the Champions: Pacquiao vs Matthysse and a replay on the same and day right after the live event.

Call 418 0000 or your local office or visit www.mysky.com/pacman to subscribe. SKYcable and One SKY subscribers can also text PACMAN to 23662.
