New Star Music artist Moira dela Torre is all ready to brave the concert stage solo as she holds her first ever show dubbed “Tagpuan” happening for two nights at the KIA Theater on February 17 and 18.
Initially scheduled on February 17 (Saturday), the concert was sold out in four days after tickets were released. It has now opened for a repeat on the next consecutive night, scheduled on February 18 (Sunday), and Moira couldn’t helped but be thrilled with this development.
“When I prayed for a concert, I didn’t expect it to be sold out let alone have a repeat. My heart is overwhelmed,” shared the singer-songwriter on her Facebook page.
The Cornerstone artist just signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN’s record label, Star Music, making her one of the musicians to look forward to this 2018 with her much-awaited solo album in the works and will be out very soon.
Moira recently made waves due to her Himig Handog 2017 win as song interpreter for “Titibo-tibo,” as well as for her “Torete” cover which was the theme song of the Star Cinema flick “Love You To The Stars and Back.” She also sang “Huling Gabi,” a song included in the soundtrack of the film “Last Night.”
Her “Tagpuan” concert, named after the song she recently wrote, will be directed by actor John Prats, produced by Cornerstone Entertainment and Bright Bulb Productions. Surprise guests await the audience.
Tickets for the February 18 show are still up for grabs and prized at P3,922 (VIP), P2650 (VIP), P2,120 (orchestra), P1,272 (loge), and P848 (balcony). Visit ticketnet.com.ph or call 911-5555 for reservation.
