The 2018 Manila International Book Fair is happening this September 12 – 16, 2018, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the SMX Convention Center, and National Book Store has a lot of great offers for all of the bookworms coming to shop.

Thousands of bestsellers and new releases will be available at discounted prices, from young adult and fiction novels, like Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asians trilogies. Grab children’s classics like J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and Jeff Kinney’s Diary of A Wimpy Kid series. Stock up on non-fiction and reference books, ranging from academic, business, lifestyle, self-help, and more.

Get cool freebies like a non-woven tote bag for every P1,000 worth of purchase, and join the many giveaways with signed books and other prizes up for grabs. Live demos and creative workshops by different brands like Artline, Marvy Uchida, Mongol, Stabilo, and Zig Kuretake, among many others.

Meet literary legends Butch Dalisay and Lualhati Bautista, bestselling authors Marcelo Santos III and Juan Miguel Severo, and celebrity authors Mark Bautista and Lloyd Cadena. ‘Younger’ star Nico Tortorella will also have a book signing event on Sunday, September 16, discussing their book ‘all of it is you.’ and performing some spoken word poetry.

For free entrance passes, visit www.nationalbookstore.com/manila-international-book-fair. These passes must be printed and presented at the venue.

Books aren’t only meant to be read. They can also be used for cuddling, reading aloud, and holding in your hand. Because there is always something fresh, intriguing, and fun about book fairs from their cheery, upbeat settings to the diversity of books available. We adore them.
