The Anne Curtis – Dingdong Dantes blockbuster starrer, “Sid and Aya: Not A Love Story,” a tale of two people trying their best not to fall in love despite the obvious attraction and intimacy, takes the spotlight in the SKY Pay Per View feature this September.
Suffering from insomnia, hotshot stockbroker Sid (Dingdong Danyes) finds himself in the company of Aya (Anne Curtis) one evening. As a connection sparks between the two, Sid ends up hiring Anne to keep him company. With the prospect of easy money, Anne takes on the job of literally sitting beside Sid for more nights. As they get to know each other, the inevitable happens – they fall in love. Their complex situation soon brings forth problems that tests their relationship.
Joining “Sid & Aya” are Anne’s other movie, “Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend,” and two other complicated love stories that will tickle the heart, “Barcolena: A Love Untold,” “Unmarried Wife.” This movie bundle runs until September 20 now for only P30 for a 3-day access.
Also this month, 2017 MMFF Best Picture, “Ang Larawan” premieres on SKY Pay-Per-View. The film adaptation of the stage production, “Larawan, The Musical,” revolves around sisters Paula (Rachel Alejandro) and Candida (Joanna Ampil) who are in the midst of a struggle—whether they should sell the much talked about masterpiece their deceased father left them—his own portrait. Tony Javier (Paulo Avelino) tries to persuade Paula in selling the painting knowing the great interest it has generated among various individuals.
