One in five Filipinos has no access to electricity. So for them, productivity and opportunities are put on hold soon as the world turns dark. Students find it harder to study and learn, livelihood slows down, and simple chores become harder.
This need was recognized by Stiftung Solarenergie Philippines, an organization dedicated to empowering rural and marginalized villages throughout the Philippines by providing access to sustainable solar energy solutions. Since they’ve started, they’ve transformed 58 schools, 206 health centers, 356 homes, and we are on a mission with them to shine a light on a brighter future for others.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® have partnered together with Stiftung Solarenergie Foundation in hopes of bringing solar light to 50 homes in the remote community of Laginan, Sarangani province. CBTL encourage their customers and the rest of the community to join their mission!
