Emerging balladeer Zion Aquino, who nabbed the 30th Awit Awards’ Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist, is ready to captivate hearts with his soulful cover of “Reason Enough,” his first single under Star Music.
The singer-songwriter welcomed the challenge of singing his version of “Reason Enough,” originally one of the tracks from Regine Velasquez’s 1994 album “Listen Without Prejudice.”
During his recent contract signing with Star Music, Zion Aquino shared his excitement and anxiety on his new single.
“It was very challenging for me recording this song. I love singing strong, rough, and edgy. But for this project, I had to use the more tender side of my voice,” he said.
The song was written and produced by Zion’s manager, Trina Belamide.
Aside from being hailed as best performer, the recent Awit Awards also accorded Zion with two more recognitions — Best RNB Recording and Best Ballad Recording.
“Reason Enough” is now available in digital stores.
