The first Central Luzon Expo and Investment Forum (CLExpo) is set on October 17 and 18, at the ASEAN Convention Center, Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, with the governors of the seven provinces gracing the opening, namely Tarlac governor and president of Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation, Inc. (CLGCFI) Susan Yap, Aurora governor Gerardo A. Noveras, Bataan governor Albert S. Garcia, Bulacan governor Daniel R. Fernando, Nueva Ecija governor Aurelio M. Umali, Pampanga governor Dennis G. Pineda, and Zambales governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr.; and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) regional director Judith Angeles.

With theme “Central Luzon: Opportunities. Progress. The Future,” the CLExpo will gather international and local business communities, potential investors, Philippine and foreign embassies, national and local government agencies, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to explore the potentials of the seven provinces in the region.

The two-day event will feature an exhibit of provincial pavilions, sponsors’ and partners’ booths, and small and medium enterprises; the “Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK): Jobs and Business Opportunities” job fair hosted by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 3; a two-part investment forum with industry experts; business-to-business meetings; and a procurement matching activity managed by the Board of Investments (BOI).

Behind this pioneering project is the CLGCFI, in cooperation with the DTI-Region 3. Also rendering their support to the event are the Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Subic Clark Alliance for Development (SCAD) and the BOI.

The Central Luzon Expo is organized by the Philippine Exhibitions and Trade Corporation (PETCO). For other details including registration, you may contact the CLGCFI Secretariat at (+6345) 6259291 or email at [email protected] , or the CL Expo Secretariat-PETCO at +632 8329303 to 05, or email at [email protected]
