Chef Roberto Roldan Jr. from Palawan emerged as the winner of the fourth regional leg of the Solane Kitchen Hero Chefs Edition a nationwide cooking competition which aims to recognize a new generation of local talented chefs.
Roldan bested five (5) other contestants for his winning dish, Herbs and Cashew nut-crusted Beef Tenderloin in Bistek Sauce. He will have the chance to qualify for the national competition round with a grand prize of P100,000 and a culinary trip to Japan.
