This Chinese New Year, the Araneta Center is looking to stars and welcoming them as it ushers in the Year of the Pig.
Gracing the Chinese New Year festivities of Araneta Center will be the stars of “Elise,” Enchong Dee and Janine Gutierrez, who will do a quick stop Gateway Mall Activity Area on February 5, Tuesday before heading to the Gateway Cineplex for the premiere of their movie at Gateway Cineplex 2, 6:00 pm.
Joining the celebration geared toward Prosperity, Interests and Good Luck at the Gateway Mall Activity Area in the afternoon are: Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 and Binibining Pilipinas 2015 semifinalist Teresita Marquez, and young stars Krystal Brimner (Honor Thy Father, Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Season 2), Sammie Rimando (It’s Showtime), Ana de Leon, JayR Ramos and Kayla Heredia.
Psychic to the stars Madam Suzette Arandela will talk about improving one’s fortunes at the Gateway Mall, while feng shui expert Tony Suvega will give out tips to attract good luck at Farmers Plaza and Ali Mall.
Arandela has gained popularity for her predictions on the careers and personal lives of several celebrities, while Suvega has built a name as the go-to consultant when it comes to the ancient Chinese art of geomancy.
For P500.00 single receipt purchase, registrants may consult these experts and other tarot card readers, get souvenirs and be eligible for the raffle. Registration starts at 11:00 a.m.
Those joining the revelry at the Gateway Mall will also get tips on how to decorate and cultivate lucky plants during a workshop.
Horoscope readings on the love, health, and career fortunes of the 12 zodiac signs are also available at the three malls.
Shoppers will also be immersed in Chinese culture as lion and dragon dancers and cultural ribbon dancers will also perform and go around Araneta Center.
From February 2 to 5, shoppers may also take pictures on the three malls’ photo walls, post their pictures on their Instagram account, tag Araneta Center and get a chance to win any of these three prizes: overnight stay for two at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center; one brand new LG smart phone; and round trip tickets to Puerto Princesa, Palawan for two.
From February 6 to 13, Gateway Mall will also house a bazaar offering Chinese food and treats.
