Globe Telecom cements another milestone partnership with one of the metro’s biggest lifestyle complexes, Araneta Center, to provide fast and reliable internet connectivity via its GoWiFi service.

Today’s generation of mall-goers consider reliable Internet connection as one of the must-haves in going to retail centers. With Araneta Center now powered by GoWiFi, visitors will have access to stable and secure WiFi connection for an upgraded malling experience.

“Globe ensures that customers have access to fast and reliable internet to make the most out of their digital lifestyle. This partnership with Araneta Center will allow more customers to enjoy free WiFi services using Globe’s high-speed GoWiFi service and make their shopping—and internet surfing—truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Ernest Cu, President and CEO at Globe.

GoWiFi continues its expansion plans nationwide, particularly in high-traffic areas like malls, hospitals, and schools to make high-quality internet connection accessible and affordable to more Filipinos. As of the first half of the year, GoWiFi is now accessible in 2,500 sites nationwide, up by 500 sites from the previous year.

For their part, Araneta Center’s SVP for Business Development John Peter B. Castelo said, “The Araneta Center is happy to collaborate with Globe in providing a fast, reliable, and seamless Wi-Fi facility within its estate. We look forward to attract even more patrons by providing a robust internet-enabling service to many of our tech-savvy customers who rely heavily on their mobile phones and related devices for their lifestyle choices. GoWiFi will further allow our shoppers and visitors to enjoy online-enabled services and features suited to their needs. We are providing a technology platform and an online tool to enjoy new discoveries. This Araneta Center-Globe partnership offers an innovative shopping experience that comes with a huge benefit to our lessees and loyal shoppers.”

To enjoy free GoWiFi access while at the Araneta Center complex, Globe and non-Globe users can simply go to @AranetaCenter_FreeGoWiFi on their device’s WiFi setting, and click the SSID for Araneta Center @Araneta_FreeGoWiFi.

GoWiFi is the country’s largest WiFi service in the country that aims to provide customers better WiFi experience with speeds of up to 100Mbps depending on the location. It is available to all users regardless of network, whether Globe, Touch Mobile, Smart, Talk N Text, and even international numbers.
