Taken from their latest studio album, ‘Love Me / Love Me Not’, HONNE have released a special new version of sparkling, standout track ‘Crying Over You’, this time featuring RM from the iconic band, BTS, and BEKA.
After first speaking online back in 2015, during which time RM retweeted posts about HONNE from the BTS handle, the band met RM at their first ever show in Seoul and stayed in touch ever since, even producing a track (‘Seoul’) on RM’s 2018 solo mixtape, ‘mono’.
“We always wanted a rapper over ‘Crying Over You’, so it was great when RM was up for featuring on the track,” Honne explained, “…and the part he’s written has continued to explore, and add to, the emotion of our original version.” “I’m so excited for the track release” RM commented. “It was a pleasure to work with such a great band like HONNE. They helped produce ‘Seoul’ on my playlist ‘mono.’ and I’m really glad that I could be a part of their work this time.”
The band have recently returned from their latest Asia Tour, which saw them play 16 sold-out dates across Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and China throughout February and March, ahead of a series of notable festival appearances – including All Points East in London, Lollapalooza in Chicago and Splendour In The Grass in Australia – later this summer. ‘Crying Over You’ ft. RM & Beka is out now.
