Relive the “kilig” brought by the iconic tandem of Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos as their now digitally restored film “Bakit ‘Di Totohanin” airs for the first time on ABS-CBN this Sunday (May 26) on Sunday’s Best.

Witness once again the story of Katong (Judy Ann), a woman who is forced to get into a boxing match to win back her family’s gym, which her drunkard grandmother lost in a bet. Desperate to win, she meets Paul (Piolo), a boxing trainer who helps her learn all the skills to win the fight.

Their differences often lead them to heated quarrels, but as time passes, they learn to accept one another and eventually fall for each other.

Also part of the film are Johnny Delgado, Epy Quizon, and Gloria Romero. It is under the direction of Boots Plata.

The digitally restored version of “Bakit ‘Di Totohanin” is under the project of ABS-CBN Film Restoration with Central Digital Lab that aims to remaster select Filipino films to continue the legacy of Pinoy iconic movies and bring them to new generation of viewers. Some of the movies successfully restored under the project are “Himala,” “Oro, Plata, Mata,” and “Kakabakaba Ka Ba?”

Don’t miss the movies, documentaries, and other shows featured in “Sunday’s Best,” every Sunday on ABS-CBN.
