Australian indie/rock band, Last Dinosaurs, have announced their return to Asia in May 2019. The tour will kick off in Bangkok and will take them through Hong Kong, Philippines, Taipei before wrapping it up in Singapore, where they last played in 2013. Tour dates and ticketing details are listed below.
On the upcoming tour, the band exclaimed, “Touring Asia is what we look forward to the most. It’s so great moving between so many countries and cultures. And whether it’s club shows or festivals, the crowds always bring the best energy. Can’t wait to get back there in May!”
Last October, the band released their third album ‘Yumeno Garden’, via Dew Process. Taking inspiration from ghost towns in Japan, to neon cityscapes in America. Yumeno Garden’ is an eclectic mix of music and influence that sees the band recapture the vitality and dynamism they made their original mark with, while pouring in the experiences they’ve had on the road and in life along the way.
Last Dinosaurs, made up of Sean Caskey (vocals/guitar), Lachlan Caskey (guitar) and Michael Sloane (bass), landed a top 10 place in the Aria Chart with their breakout debut album ‘In A Million Years’ in 2012. After touring internationally, including performances in major festivals in Southeast Asia, they released their follow up album ‘Wellness’ in 2015.
