Through the years, Ortigas Malls has taken part in the yearly celebration of Earth Hour to raise awareness on climate change. This year, Ortigas Malls will once again participate in the global hour-long lights off for Earth Hour on March 30.
Each of the Ortigas Malls have prepared exciting programs to raise awareness and encourage community participation in taking care of the environment. Captivating live performances await shoppers from 8:30PM to 9:30PM at the Lower Ground Floor and 2nd Floor Bridgeway, Estancia at Capitol Commons; Ground Floor VMall Greenhills; and 2nd Floor Building B, Food Village Tiendesitas.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) since 2007. The event is held annually, encouraging everyone to switch off their lights for an hour to unite the world and make a stand against climate change. Its purpose is to empower an interconnected global community to achieve tangible environmental outcomes for our living planet.
Today, Earth Hour is the world’s largest environmental movement for the planet that involves 178 countries and territories worldwide.
