His Excellency Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines received on Wednesday His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) and Honourary President of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation on the occasion of HH’s visit to the sister country at the invitation of HE the President.
At the beginning of the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to HE President Duterte as well as HM’s good wishes to HE the President for his health, happiness and success in the future.
HH Shaikh Khalid further added: “We are delighted to be in the friendly Republic of the Philippines, a country that is extraordinary and unique and has a strong relationship with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields. We are here today to underscore the depth of this relationship and seek its growth in the form that serves both countries and peoples, especially in the field of sports,”
