One of the most important things for a generation that grew up in a post-digital era surrounded by smartphones and heightened social media presence is social media connectivity. This generation always seeks ways to share their most authentic selves online and find people with the same interests. With this in mind, Samsung unveils its new smartphone line built for the era of live.
“Our new devices are designed for the way that people are connecting today—sharing, capturing and consuming live,” said Jerry Manus, Business Division Head for IT & Mobile. “These are diverse and powerful devices that can keep up with spontaneous and collaborative interactions.”
Designed to provide industry-wide innovations in the mid-range portfolio, the Galaxy A50 and A30 offer improvements to essential device features that matter most, including an immersive viewing experience, longer lasting battery, and a camera that captures the world as one sees it.
Galaxy A50
The Galaxy A50 takes photos in a revolutionary way with its triple camera setup, intended to mimic human eyesight.
- Its rear cameras include a 25MP main camera for taking clear photos even in low light; an 8MP Ultra Wide
camera to capture a wider view in every shot; and a 5MP Live Focus camera to create bokeh images that will
take any social media post to the next level. - The 25MP main camera shoots vivid images in bright daylight. While in darkness, the f/1.7 aperture
enables clear shots by detecting more light and reducing noise. Combined with the depth lens, the camera
offers a Live Focus experience, enabling users to choose exactly where to accentuate. - The 8MP Ultra Wide camera can capture 123° wide shots and capture the world without constraint.
- With the 25MP front camera, selfies are even made better using Selfie Focus to subtly blur background
details.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is not only capable of taking top-notch photos with its versatile camera; it also lets aspiring content creators capture and produce more content with the A50’s long-lasting 4,000 mAh battery and fast charging technology. Every moment worth sharing online will not be missed.
The newest front liner in the A series for 2019 also sports the all-new Infinity U display, which offers a 6.4” Super AMOLED screen for vivid colors. Equipped with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, the A50 provides intuitive unlocking without changing grip.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes in a comfortable slim design and smooth curved shape. It is also available in three new characterful color options: Black, White, and Blue inspired by scattered light.
Galaxy A30
