Senatorial Candidates Fight For The People’s Vote In Second #Harapan2019 Debate

A new batch of senatorial hopefuls will take the stage to air their platforms and stands on issues in the second leg of “Harapan 2019: The ABS-CBN Senatorial Town Hall Debate,” this Sunday (February 24) LIVE on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, DZMM TeleRadyo, news.abs-cbn.com, iWant.ph, TFC.tv, and on the ABS-CBN News Facebook page and ABS-CBN News YouTube channel at 7:00 pm.

Candidates Abner Afuang, Gary Alejano, Rafael Alunan, Neri Colmenares, Agnes Escudero, Ding Generoso, Romy Macalintal, Mar Roxas, and Erin Tanada will join anchors Karen Davila and Alvin Elchico in the debates, which will also air on ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best after “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

Like in the first debate, each candidate will get to have an opening statement where they can address the voting public and share their plans if elected. They will also participate in a Fast Talk segment where they will have two minutes to answer quickly and convincingly questions on their views and positions on various topics. Several case studies, representing the common Filipino, will also be present to personally ask the candidates about the issues affecting the lives of their families.

“Harapan 2019: The ABS-CBN Senatorial Town Hall Debate” is part of ABS-CBN’s comprehensive coverage for Halalan 2019. The first leg of the debates last February 17 was the number 1 trending topic in the Philippines on Twitter, and the number two topic worldwide as netizens posted their reactions to the candidates’ answers.

Don’t miss the second leg of “Harapan 2019: The ABS-CBN Senatorial Town Hall Debate” this Sunday (February 24), and on March 3, LIVE at 7 pm on ANC and ANC HD, DZMM TeleRadyo, online on news.abs-cbn.com, iWant.ph, and TFC.tv, and live on each platform’s Facebook page, and the telecast on ABS-CBN’s “Sunday’s Best.” Catch the “Harapan 2019” specials starting at 6:30 pm and after the debate proper at 9:00 pm on ANC and DZMM.
