Teleperformance, the global leader in outsourced omnichannel customer experience management, strengthened its drive towards sustaining market leadership position in the IT-BPM industry through a three-day leadership summit at the Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City on August 2 to 4.

Over 150 leaders from Teleperformance’s 21 business sites across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao attended the HighTech, HighTouch Philippine Leadership Summit 2019 whose theme was in line with Teleperformance Group’s Founder, Chairman and CEO Daniel Julien’s vision of enabling dynamic interactions between humans and digital technology and creating memorable customer experiences.

The event was a key pillar in the company’s continuous leadership training program that demonstrates its commitment to invest in people and maintaining a growth mindset in all levels of the organization.

The summit was formally opened by Teleperformance Philippines Chief Operating Officer Mike Lytle with his purpose-driven message for every leader: “This summit is about how we become better. The only competition is ourselves. We must continue leveling-up. Nobody will push us harder than ourselves. This means new ways to grow, new opportunities to be better. We come to work with purpose. We come to work to make things better for people.”

Another highlight of the event was the keynote message by Teleperformance English World Chief Executive Officer Brian Johnson who congratulated Teleperformance Philippines for its phenomenal growth and excellence in exceeding client expectations as proven by various recognitions from clients and industry observers.

He also extended Daniel Julien’s praise for the Philippine team who noted that the “management team is professional, fired up, and has widely integrated Technology, Analytics and Process Consulting and digital transformation optimization.”

The event was made even more productive through featured resources speakers who shared different perspectives and trends in the industry: UP professor and data analytics advocate Eugene Rex Jalao, Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner Carelle Mangaliag, former Department of Budget Undersecretary and now National Technology Officer of Microsoft Richard Bon Moya, brand architect and reputation strategist Amor Maclang, book author Raymond Domingo, and Great Place to Work CEO for Greater China Jose Carlos Bezanilla.

Aside from the plenary sessions, Teleperformance senior leaders facilitated the breakout discussions on Artificial Intelligence, Genuine Relationships; Digital technologies that Elevate the Human Experience; Leading Champions of Change; Branding the Culture: Why Culture is the Brand; and High Trust for All.

The three-day summit ended on a high note with the Pinnacle Awards given to distinguished leaders who demonstrated excellence in client satisfaction, people management, corporate social responsibility, and commitment to corporate values.

At the end, Mike Lytle articulated his personal commitment to his team, which reflects the company’s commitment to its clients: “My commitment is to lead this team with passion through this time of tremendous change and to remain open and flexible to different ways of getting things done.”
