Critically-acclaimed “The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” plus hit movies “Prisoners,” and “This Means War” are taking over ABS-CBN TVplus’ Movie Central this March.

“The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” (March 30) brings back Ceasar, the genetically enhanced chimpanzee introduced in “The Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”

Ten years after simian flu wiped almost out the world’s human populace, Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his followers now have a colony in San Francisco. But he secretly wants to reestablish peaceful relations with humans. He then helps an architect fix a hydro dam to restore the San Francisco bridge to its original place. Their relationship is soon disrupted when an ape assassinates a human and begins a war against the survivors.

Hugh Jackman (Keller Dover), meanwhile, is facing every parent’s nightmare after his daughter is kidnapped with her friend in “Prisoners” (March 16). He is joined by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Viewers also can catch how bestfriends and CIA operatives FDR Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy) use their skills against each other for Lauren’s (Reese Witherspoon) heart in “This Means War” (March 23).
