Ticket2Me highlights stellar 2019 with Ticketing Business Asia stint

In a year which saw Ticket2Me close a historic ticketing technology partnership with the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Ticket2Me punctuates 2019 with a successful engagement at the inaugural Ticketing Business Asia Forum held recently at The Wave, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong.

To note, Ticket2Me is the only ticketing startup that was showcased as an event partner with its Founder and CEO Darwin Mariano, the only startup and Filipino company head featured as a speaker. Mariano spoke about the Philippine ticketing landscape, challenges and opportunities in running the country’s first fully digital ticketing platform, and understanding and reaching online and offline audiences.

“It was an amazing opportunity for Ticket2Me to be able to meet and discuss business not just with local players like TicketNet and TicketWorld, represented by their parent company TEG, but also with regional and global players like LOKET, SISTIC, Eventbrite, and Ticketmaster. A number of them actually expressed interest to work with us and we’re excited at the prospect of wider collaboration with many of our industry colleagues–all in an effort to create greater value for Filipino event organizers, venues, and ticket buyers. I’m confident these partnerships will further accelerate the development of online event ticketing in the Philippines and I’m proud that Ticket2Me is helping lead the way,” Mariano said.

Ticketing Business Asia 2019 is UK-based event consultancy firm Xperiology’s first foray into Asia, following another highly successful and well-attended event at Manchester early this year. Ticketing Business Asia 2019 gathered more than 200 leaders and executives from ticketing companies operating in Asia and around the world for two days of insightful discussions, trend and best practice exchanges, and fellowship. The 2020 edition is set on October 21 and 22, also in Hong Kong.

Ticket2Me is the country’s fastest growing ticketing and event technology company with more than 11,000 cash payment outlets throughout the Philippines. Event organizers, venues, and ticket buyers may access the platform and buy tickets via www.ticket2me.net, the Ticket2Me iOS and Android apps, and the official CCP iOS and Android apps.
