After bringing us back to the ’80s sound, singer-songwriter Timmy Albert returns with “dear moon,” a new single that takes us to a whole ‘nother world.
“dear moon” is a sad, dream-pop song that tries to make you feel like you’re in space. Talking about the song, Timmy says “it tackles dealing with the insurmountable distance and separation of a relationship between an astronaut and his lover. As he is “reaching for the stars”, he wishes and longs for her company instead of living a life lightyears apart in the lonely universe.”
Upon its release, the song has already garnered support all around Asia and the globe, being included in several Spotify New Music Friday playlists such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong Vietnam, North Africa, Egypt, and Gulf.
“dear moon” is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and Amazon Music under mustard music.
