Leading global technology company ABB Philippines will hold its 1st ABB Digital Summit on July 26 to 29, 2021 featuring technology and emerging trends in building smart cities that are both sustainable and energy efficient.
The four-day virtual ABB Digital Summit aims to bring together about 300 industry stakeholders and leaders and opinion and policy makers around the world to witness the latest engineering innovations at ABB.
“The first ever ABB Digital Summit will bring together experts and industry leaders to talk about trends and opportunities in the area of electrification, solar, renewable energy and digitalization especially as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Olivier Coquerel, Country Managing Director and Local Manager of ABB Electrification Division during the Summit’s press launch.
Highlights of the Summit includes the launch of two recent technology solutions from ABB for the Philippine market, namely the Tmax XT moulded case circuit breakers, which guarantee an extremely high performance level, simple to install and able to provide increasingly better safety and the ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor for Motors, which converts traditional motors, pumps, mounted bearings and gearing into smart, wirelessly connected devices.
The four-day online event will feature global speakers from ABB, with special guest resource persons from different organizations and associations like the Energy Managers Professionals Association in the Philippines (EMPAP), Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE), Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) and Philippine Green Building Council (PGBC).
Among the exciting topics to be discussed during the Summit includes Green Technology for Smarter Buildings, Mobility Solutions for Electricity Vehicles focusing on ABB E-mobility, ABB Power Quality Solutions, ABB High Efficiency Motors, and Digital Automation Solutions for Renewables.
