Through the years, Globe Business has continuously empowered micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in their transition to digitalization. Now, more than ever, it is even more determined to ramp up its support to speed up their recovery from the impact of the pandemic and make their businesses more resilient to whatever situation they face through the Globe Business Recovery Program.
Through the Globe Business Recovery Program, the digital solutions provider helps MSMEs by analyzing how they cope with events like disasters or pandemics and draws parallels to suggest ideas on immediate relief and digital recommendations to build long-term resilience. MSMEs enjoy the benefit of having free business consultation sessions with Globe Business experts and learn how they can get support to integrate digital solutions into their operations to secure the future of their businesses.
The initiative is part of Globe’s Business Consultation Caravan, which is a long-running campaign composed of a series of webinars, providing management consultations to help organizations improve their business performance and efficiency.
Building MSME confidence through Business Recovery Planning Sessions
In 2021, Globe Business has already organized two business recovery planning sessions with BilisBenta, a local automated dropshipping platform that offers shared inventories and resources to its clients, and GV Hotel, a budget hotel business with over 20 branches across the Philippines.
“Through this program, we witnessed how Globe Business is truly a trusted partner of MSMEs. The Globe Business team came up with air-tight solutions to help us realize ways wherein we can further improve our operations, giving us a better chance at sustaining our operations in the long run,” said Chester Sy, CEO of Bilis Benta.
Meanwhile, GV Hotel’s occupancy rate plunged to 10% from an average of 60%-70% due to the pandemic. Joseph Gochangco, the Founder of GV Hotel, shared, “Globe Business provided us with valuable recommendations as to how we can reach more potential customers in order to boost our business growth. They also helped us identify the right digital solutions to use in ensuring uninterrupted business operations for our customers.”
Globe Business has also engaged in business consultancy sessions with other MSMEs such as Benguet Electric Cooperative and Bellagio 3. It is set to extend its support to the Calamba Water District, Accumaster, Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, and Bukidnon Faith Christian Academy—ensuring that any type of business from different industries will not be left behind.
“Through the Business Recovery Program, Globe Business can continue to fulfill its mission in helping MSMEs secure their future by creating a system of prevention and recovery,” said Grace Anduiza, Globe Business MSME Group Customer Success Head of Globe Business.
