Content Creator and Millennial Fashion Icon, Laureen Uy gets candid with Vice as she shares her struggles in taking pride in her work as a lifestyle and fashion content creator in Manila.

For the fashionable millennial crowd, the name Laureen Uy is eponymous to fashion. Considered as one of the OG Filipino fashion bloggers, Laureen’s worked hard through the years to build a name for herself in the world of fashion earning her exclusive seats in the most important fashion runway shows and getting spotted gracing the pages and social media of global fashion publications like Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Elle to name a few.

Behind the glitter of it all, working as a fashion content creator has its ups and down. Being in the industry for a decade, Laureen opens up with Vice about the challenges she faces trying to embrace her raw and real emotions online while battling gender expectations and cultural differences working as a fashion and travel content creator.
