Through the years, Panasonic has been driving its global advocacy for cleaner and fresher Quality Air for Life. In the commitment to help Filipinos who continue to struggle with the pandemic, the company shared its Window-type Air Conditioner (CW-XC185EPH) with Comfort Cool and Anti-bacterial Filter to support safer air in patient wards and nurses’ stations of 10 selected local medical institutions.

One of the donations was made on October 4, 2021, when Panasonic Air-Conditioning Philippines CEO, Masaru Toyota personally turned over the units to Dr. Vincent Balanag Jr., Executive Director of the Lung Center of the Philippines. Mr. Toyota reiterated, “We offer this donation as a reward to all dedicated front liners of the Lung Center of the Philippines, for all of their hard work during these tough times of the pandemic”. Dr. Balanag responded with overflowing gratitude and wishes to receive more of the same opportunities in the future.

Panasonic Window-type Air Conditioners were also donated to other beneficiaries and received by their respective representatives: San Lazaro Hospital; Manila Doctors Hospital; Manila Medical Center Hospital; San Juan de Dios Hospital; Adventist Medical Center; Rizal Medical Center; Philippine General Hospital ; National Kidney and Transplant Institute and Mary Mediatrix Medical Center.

In fulfilling its vision of A Better Life, A Better World, Panasonic reserves a special place of caring and compassion for Filipinos, especially in these trying pandemic times.
