The tradition of coming together for special occasions has greatly been limited by the pandemic, with many resorting to virtual celebrations instead. This has inspired Sun Life Philippines to team up with Wish 107.5 to fulfill song requests and spread Christmas cheer this holiday season.
Entitled “Wish Upon A Sun,” the concert will take place on December 10, Friday, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and will be streamed via the Sun Life PH and Wish 107.5 YouTube channels. Among the featured acts are Barbie Almalbis, The Itchyworms, The Juans, and Syd Hartha. They will not only perform their hit songs in the famed Wish Bus but will also grant the viewers’ most requested songs dedicated to a special someone.
“Music adds magic to any celebration and has always been a staple in Filipino holiday gatherings,” Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. President Alex Narciso said. “As we grant the most requested music wishes and flash the dedications onscreen, we hope it will make them feel a sense of togetherness and make the holidays merry and bright. It will be a novel way of staying in touch with their loved ones who, despite the distance, have been their partner for life in these extraordinary times.”
Apart from the performances, viewers can also look forward to a raffle draw, where Sun Life will be giving away the following prizes: P1,000 worth of Sun Life Prosperity Card investment funds for 10 winners; Work-from-Home packages consisting of a laptop table, a USB, and a hot & cold tumbler for five winners; Wellness packages consisting of a yoga mat, wooden yoga blocks, and earbuds for five winners; P5,000 worth of Giftaway digital vouchers for two winners; and P10,000 worth of Giftaway digital vouchers for one winner.
Meanwhile, an online promo dubbed “Wish Upon A Sunson” will also be held via www.facebook.com/sunlifeph. A variety of mini games will be posted daily, and participants will get a chance to win digital vouchers and a plushie of Sunson, Sun Life’s adorable mascot. All those who will join throughout the promo period of November 27 to December 10 will also qualify for the grand raffle which will be drawn during the “Wish Upon A Sun” concert.
