The ABS-CBN Foundation and AirAsia Philippines have joined forces to support the Foundation in its programs of championing children’s welfare, environmental stewardship, disaster relief and rehabilitation, and community empowerment.
The partnership dubbed “AlwaysRedy: Pilipino para sa Pilipino” is in alignment with the Foundation’s latest campaign, Pilipino Para sa Pilipino, which aims to aid Filipino families through its various programs.
“We are so grateful that AirAsia Philippines joined us in our Pilipino Para sa Pilipino campaign. We are honored to work with you [AirAsia] as you help us realign our mission to serve every Filipino one community at a time,” ABS-CBN Foundation managing director Roberta Lopez-Feliciano said.
Part of AirAsia Philippines support in this partnership are free seats for the Foundation’s on-the-ground team and first responders and its beneficiaries, allocated cargo space and AirAsia Philippines’ Allstars Peer Support, and 1st airlift wing reserve unit as supplementary manpower during disaster relief and rehabilitation efforts.
“We are glad to have a partner that is on the same page as us on promoting corporate citizenship and cooperative nation-building. Trust that our collaboration will propel our missions and initiatives further to the benefit of our Kababayans,” AirAsia CEO Ricky Isla said.
Present during the event were ABS-CBN Foundation managing director, Roberta Lopez-Feliciano; Marketing and Donor Relations head, Paul Mercado; AirAsia chief executive officer Ricky Isla; SuperApp managing director, Ray Berja; and head of Communications and Public Affairs Steve Dailisan.
