AirAsia Philippines was recognized as an outstanding institutional partner of Operation Smile Philippines during their annual volunteers’ appreciation night. The event aims to give back and recognize all the skilled health volunteers and outstanding donors and partners who have helped in delivering comprehensive care and surgery to children with cleft palate and cleft lip palate.
AirAsia was recognized along with top corporations in the Philippines for its efforts in providing its services and resources to Operation Smile and their beneficiaries at the grassroot level in different far-flung provinces in the country.

AirAsia also gifted free flights to Operation Smile volunteers who’ve been devoting their precious time and effort since the inception of the organization. Symbolically, the volunteers’ appreciation night coincides with the 40th year anniversary of Operation Smile.
In November 2021, AirAsia Philippines and Operation Smile Philippines forged a partnership called “alwaysREDy to go the extra mile for a smile” to fly patients and medical experts to and from different provinces in the country to assess, facilitate and perform medical surgeries to qualified beneficiaries.
