Buses bound to Laguna and Batangas are now allowed to operate at the Araneta City Bus Station starting April 2.

As per Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Memorandum Circular No. 2022-023, Araneta City and bus operators have secured a valid Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC), Provisional Authority (PA), and Special Permits to allow the resumption of the following bus operations at the Araneta City Bus Station:

Alps and GoldStar Transport

5:30 AM to 8:30 PM

  • San Juan, Batangas – Php 310
  • Batangas City – Php 230
  • Lipa City, Batangas – Php 176

HM Transport

7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Calamba, Laguna – Php 117
  • Pansol, Laguna – Php 128
  • Los Banos Bayan – Php 139
  • Sta. Cruz, Laguna – Php 198

Mon Legazpi, Property Manager of Araneta City Bus Station, assures the public of their safety as the new bus routes accommodate more commuters this Lenten season.

As mandated by LTFRB, all buses are equipped with a QR code for passenger contact tracing. Each bus is sanitized and disinfected during drop-off intervals, while bus drivers and personnel are regularly tested for COVID-19. Passengers are required to wear face masks all the time.

“The public are also encouraged to strictly follow existing health precautions and social distancing measures. Passengers may be asked to present a vaccination ID or any proof of vaccination.” Legazpi added.

Apart from these new bus routes, trips going to and from Pampanga and Bulacan are operational in Araneta City Bus Station. Discounts for senior citizens, students, and PWD are acknowledged and granted.
