Up for some virtual party this August? Awesome Play is hosting a two-day music festival in Jaraseom, Gyeonggi-do called “Awesome Play NFT Festival” that will be simulcast online via Bigo Live. From August 13 (11:30 AM, PH time) -14 (11:00 AM, PH time), 2022, enjoy online games and interactive performances from some of South Korea’s biggest acts like DJ Soda, Ailee, and Laboum.
The festival promises a unique experience through the smart device “Z-Band,” which can check the heart rate of the person wearing it. Users can also share their heart rates via the sharing platform “Z-Beat.”
Moreover, Awesome Play will distribute a prize worth 100 million won to all users of the Z Planet via a treasure hunt game. All this will happen under the theme of “cooling fog camp,” a popular summertime activity in Korea where people are sprayed with a cooling mist to beat the summer heat.
In a statement, Z-Planet shares that they are excited to provide users with more unique experiences, adding that they have prepared content like a “global K-POP idol audition within the metaverse space.”
