Bayad, the biggest and widest pioneering multi-channel payment platform in the Philippines has forged a partnership with state-owned Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE).
As the Principal Agency for State Guarantee Finance of the Philippines, PHILGUARANTEE highlights its role in assisting its clientele through the provision of credit guarantees in support of trade and investments, agricultural business, MSMEs, housing and other sectors of the economy to promote socio-economic and regional development. Towards this end, Philguarantee continues to improve its services and processes, particularly in terms of granting bills payment services on loan amortizations and other related fees.
The said bills payment capability will then be powered by Bayad, enabling PHILGUARANTEE’s clients to settle their housing loan amortization and water utility.
Establishing its joint venture, Bayad and PHILGUARANTEE sets out a strong commitment to fully leverage its initiatives in digital finance.
Bayad President and CEO, Lawrence Y. Ferrer shared, “Essentially, innovation and sustainability is the bedrock of our partnership with PHILGUARANTEE. We share the same commitment in providing convenient real-time bills payment services not only to individuals but we also power several institutions and businesses as we continue to uphold quality standards and implement stringent security measures.”
PHILGUARANTEE President and CEO Alberto E. Pascual welcomes this new partnership with Bayad, as part of the Corporation’s continuing efforts on ensuring service delivery to PHILGUARANTEE clients and to the public. He also underscored the Corporation’s ongoing initiatives on the automation and digitization of its key processes in billing and collection.
