Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem, and infrastructure provider were invited by the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) to speak to over 400 students on 13 December 2022. Located in the city of Manila, LPU is one of the top private universities in the city and prides itself on its academic excellence and dedication to innovation.
At the seminar titled “MONEY WISE: Breaking Barriers in Bitcoin”, Kenneth Stern, country manager of Binance, graced the event as a guest speaker and delved deep into the realm of digital assets with the students present. He shared about how crypto works and also debunked some common misconceptions that people might have.
Kenneth Stern said at the event: “Closing the knowledge gap is essential when it comes to crypto. The Web3 industry is still very much in its infancy, and we see Binance as a very small part of a much larger financial ecosystem. Our role is focused on providing a user-friendly, safe and convenient channel for users to enter and explore the ecosystem of decentralized finance.”
This visit to LPU is part of Binance’s collective effort to increase crypto adoption in the region and is one of the many ways Binance is educating the future batch of professionals for the era of Web3.
