BTS released the new anthology album Proof on June 10, 11 months after their latest single CD Butter. Proof is the core of BTS’ history. The new three-CD album introduces three new tracks, one in each CD: “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”, “Run BTS” and “For Youth”, each in different genres conveying their own messages. The album comprises 48 tracks total, from the greatest hit songs, and solo/sub-unit tracks selected by each member, unreleased tracks to special tracks.
CD1
CD1, the “BTS chronicle”, comprises 19 tracks including lead singles of BTS’ albums in a chronological order: “No More Dream”, “N.O”, “Boy In Luv”, “Danger”, “I NEED U”, “RUN”, “Burning Up (FIRE)”, “Blood Sweat & Tears”, “Spring Day”, “DNA”, “FAKE LOVE”, “IDOL”, “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)”, “ON”, “Dynamite”, “Life Goes On”, “Butter”, and the new lead single “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”.
CD1 starts with a remastered version of “Born Singer” which was unofficially released in July 2013, a month after their debut. Based on a song by American rapper J. Cole, “Born Singer” unfolds BTS’ candid emotions they felt after one month of their debut.
Beginning with “Born Singer” and ending with the lead single “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” CD1 represents the nine years of BTS’ history and proves that the septet is still in progress of writing their own history.
“Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)”
The album’s lead single “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” is the last track of the first CD, which acts as a chronicle of BTS. The track sings about the past nine years of BTS’ journey as artists, and opens another new chapter that awaits the septet.
“Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” is a medium-tempo, alternative hip-hop track that incorporates a sampling technique of Chipmunk soul, a style enormously popular in the early to mid-2000s. RM, SUGA and j-hope participated in the making of the track.
The hearty melody and hopeful message, meaning Your best moment is yet to come, sung in BTS’ soothing voices warm the hearts of listeners.
Through “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” BTS take the past difficulties and challenges they faced in stride, and composedly sing that YOUR tomorrow will shine brighter. It tells the story of BTS who have grown stronger going through adversity and celebrating achievements, and how those past and present moments make us look forward to what’s next for BTS.
CD2
CD2 is a collection of 15 solo/sub-unit tracks, all selected by the members. It is imbued with the septet’s own thoughts, emotions and stories. Starting off with the brand new “Run BTS”, the CD introduces tracks: “Intro : Persona”, “Stay”, “Moon”, “Jamais Vu”, “Trivia 轉 : Seesaw”, “BTS Cypher PT.3 : KILLER”, “Outro : Ego”, “Her”, “Filter”, “Friends”, “Singularity”, “00:00 (Zero O’Clock)”, “Euphoria” and “Dimple”. These tracks reflect each member’s different color and taste, and how these altogether form BTS’ charm as a group.
“Run BTS”
“Run BTS”, which opens CD2, is a powerful up-tempo hip-hop genre track. The track narrates the seven members who have been there for each other throughout their journey as a team, and the determination of BTS to keep running as they always have. The lyrics unfold as if BTS are telling a story of their own passage of time, and well-reflect the unique characters of BTS, growing together as one team, and moving forward without settling. RM, SUGA, j-hope and Jung Kook participated in the making of this track.
“Run BTS” reminds the members of their relationships as a team and how they have been supportive as friends, family and pacemakers to each other.

Intended as a gift for the fans, CD3 includes tracks that members worked on previously but have not been released in the previous albums, demo versions of already released tracks in BTS’ younger voices vividly capturing the moments back in time, and a new fan song.

“For Youth”
Filled with songs for the fans, CD3 closes with “For Youth,” a new track dedicated to their fans, ARMY. RM, SUGA and j-hope partook in the making of the track.
The track begins with a piece of memory BTS and ARMY spent together by sampling “EPILOGUE : Young Forever” from BTS’ 2016 album, The most beautiful moment in life : YOUNG FOREVER.
The lyrics express BTS’ gratitude to their ARMY for giving them a brilliant youth. It conveys the message that ARMY is our home, and the time we spend with ARMY is our youth, and that Our youth will last forever.
“For Youth”; leaves a warm and affectionate impression with soft piano melodies and analog sounds. The song will touch many fans’ hearts as it contains the paths BTS have taken and their words true to their heart, for the fans.
