The biggest teen pageant in the world is back this July with girls from different countries competing for the crown. The prestigious Miss Teen International will happen from July 22 to 30, 2022 in New Delhi, India.
Representing the Philippines is the 17-year old Cielo Abarro who is a Senior High student at the Second Philippine International School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Cielo’s parents are overseas Filipino workers who are originally from Negros Occidental.
Like other teens her age, Cielo enjoys listening to music, singing, dancing and playing the volleyball. She is also a certified KPOP fan.
Cielo is a newbie compared to the previous teen queens who competed in India in 2018 and 2019 but she is equally smart and talented. Although she admits that the responsibility of raising the Philippine flag in a big competition such as Miss Teen International is overwhelming, she takes it as a challenge that she needs to conquer. She trains nonstop to prepare herself for the competition.
