- More than 150 collection points were added for customers
- Customers can now collect their shipments over 400 pick-up points across the Philippines
DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has partnered with M Lhuillier and Hubbed to add 155 parcel collection points for customers across the Philippines. In addition to DHL Express service points, customers can use DHL Express On Demand Delivery (ODD) to make new arrangements for shipment collections.
The consignee may collect their shipment at their preferred M Lhuillier location near their business or residence via On Demand Delivery. These new collection points aim to provide customers with more alternatives and prevent missed delivery attempts.
DHL Express has collaborated with M Lhuiller, a non-bank financial institution that also offers package delivery services, and Hubbed, an Australian company that offers seamless and secure system connections to DHL systems, M Lhuillier, and customers. Hubbed helps DHL to obtain information on changes to parcel collections, as requested by the customer.
“Here at DHL Express, we go to great lengths to guarantee the timely arrival of packages and constantly seek out innovative solutions to meet customers’ shipping needs,” said Nigel Lockett, DHL Express Philippines, Country Manager. “We’ve expanded our collection options so customers can pick up their packages whenever it’s most convenient for them, rather than waiting at home or place of business during a fixed time window.”
Once customers ship online through My DHL+, they will be prompted to select the flexible delivery option and ‘Collection from a nearby DHL ServicePoint or Locker.’
When DHL receives a customer request for collection at any M Lhuillier location, the courier will transfer the package to the M Lhuillier location. Customers may show the access PIN they have received to validate when collecting the package.
This integration provides collection alternatives, but also improves checkpoint visibility and increase shipment processing reliability by leveraging the physical security features of M Lhuillier branches.
