(Nasdaq: EGIO), the globally-scaled software solutions provider powering secure seamlessly integrated delivery, applications, and streaming experiences at the edge, today announced that it is working with regional IT solutions specialist TechDirect to bring its services and solutions to companies across Southeast Asia (SEA).
This announcement marks the next step in Edgio’s growth plans for the SEA region underpinned by a focus on sectors such as Media and Entertainment, Software and Device Manufacturing, Retail and Ecommerce, Gaming, and Service Providers. The company seeks to strengthen its regional presence with its Edgio AppOps and App Security solutions through its growing partner and reseller ecosystem. With TechDirect becoming Edgio’s first channel partner in SEA, they will join the likes of Microsoft and Verizon Business Group as a part of Edgio’s global partner and reseller ecosystem.

This partnership with TechDirect comes just months after Edgio announced its rebranding from Limelight Networks, following the acquisition of Yahoo’s Edgecast Inc. back in June.
