Leading building solutions provider Holcim Philippines, Inc. will showcase its lineup of innovative and sustainable products that are helping partners advance progress in the country when it participates in the Davao leg of the top construction trade show Philconstruct.
Holcim Philippines’s physical and virtual booths will have the theme “Greenovate ” to highlight its expanded range of advanced and eco-friendly building solutions available in Mindanao. Those who cannot visit Davao for the exhibit may experience it virtually on the PhilConstruct website.
Among the products to be featured at its PhilConstruct booth in SM Lanang from Sept. 8-10 is Holcim Aqua-X, the first water-repellent cement in the Philippines. Launched in Davao in April 2021, Holcim Aqua-X is enhanced with water-repellant boosters to make structures more durable against moisture damage.
The Holcim booth will also put a spotlight on ECOPlanet, the company’s most environmentally friendly product with at least a 30% lower carbon footprint than ordinary cement. Introduced in Mindanao this July, ECOPlanet enables partners to build durable and lasting infrastructure while being more respectful of the environment.
In addition, visitors can learn more about the company’s other exciting building solutions such as flagship general purpose cement Holcim Excel, road infrastructure cement Holcim Solido and dry mix products Tile Adhesive and Skim Coat. Holcim Philippines’ range of building solutions has been used to build important infrastructure that support progress and uplift people’s lives in Mindanao such as the Davao International Airport, Davao Coastal Road, Davao Bypass Road, and the Tagum City Flyover.
Holcim Philippines Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Sales Albert Leoveras: “We are excited to once again have a physical booth for the PhilConstruct and looking forward to engaging with visitors on our stronger range of eco-friendly and performance enhancing building solutions. We are confident that people will come away impressed seeing that we have the right products for the right applications to help build greener, smarter and for all in Mindanao.”
In a related development, Holcim Philippines also recently completed a courtesy call to Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Maximo Carvajal and Bureau and Research Standard OIC-Director Reynaldo Tolentino to reiterate the company’s readiness to support the government in building and maintaining essential infrastructure for the country’s development though its innovative and sustainable range of products.
The discussion focused on the performance of Holcim Philippines’ road repair solution SuperFastCrete in maintaining major urban roads and the commitment to produce more blended cement products to help the government’s decarbonization drive.
