Hortaleza Corporation recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Barrio Fiesta Food Processing Plant in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Dr. Roland Hortaleza, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Hortaleza Corporation, together with his sons Alfonso and Alexone led the momentous event solidifying their position as corporate entrepreneurs.
The new Food Processing Plant will have a state-of-the-art facility for the well-known Barrio Fiesta Food Products under the Prime Global Corporation (PGC), a subsidiary of Hortaleza Corporation. The new Barrio Fiesta food facility is a testament to the continuing growth and success of the Hortalezas in every business interest they invested in.
The Hortaleza siblings said that people can expect changes and improvements for the well-known brand. “PGC will continue to enhance, improve, and streamline its process in the supply chain.” Alexone Hortaleza, the president of Prime Global stated in his speech.
The new Food Processing plant will accommodate the growing demands of the Philippine Food Products market. This plant is only part of the continuing effort of the Hortalezas to provide Barrio Fiesta products to every Filipino family’s table worldwide.
“The company will continue to manufacture new and innovative products in the years to come. It will further expand its portfolio to condiments, sauces, mixes, and snacks. Moreover, the company will continue to provide quality products,” Alexone added.
Barrio Fiesta products enjoyed a boom in sales in spite of the pandemic and economic slowdown with the rise of home chefs and home-based kitchen-restaurants.
