Icons of Korean music chart resurgence, veteran K-Pop girl group EXID (members SOLJI, ELLY, HANI, HYELIN, and JEONGHWA) returns today with their celebratory 10th-anniversary single album ‘X’ via Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
Symbolic of not only the number 10 in roman numerals, the single album title ‘X’, also represents the cross between EXID and their fans LEGGO. Fronted by the addictive lead track “FIRE”, EXID showcases their charismatic signature style that sets the music ablaze. The single album also includes a Nu-disco track “IDK(I DON’T KNOW)” which was written and composed by member ELLY, as well as a ballad track titled “LEGGO” in dedication to their fans. The single album closes with an English version of their lead track “FIRE” for their international fans.
Meanwhile, EXID will be holding a fan concert ‘EXID 10th Anniversary FAN-CON <EXID X LEGGO>’ on October 29th to meet their fans in person, which will also be streamed online.
EXID debuted in 2012 under their producer S.Tiger. EXID is best known for its rise in popularity with its breakthrough viral single “Up & Down” which resurged after four months of release. Ever since then, EXID has made its mark in the Korean music scene with their music filled with their distinctive signature style and concept.
