In collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd), Johnson and Johnson Philippines, makers of Johnson’s Baby, officially launched the Bida Eskwela: Angat ang Batang Presko-Bango caravan last September 20, 2022, with the goal of equipping moms this school year, as they level up their kids’ protection, and prepare them to go and explore the world again. Johnson’s Baby and DepEd have started rolling out the caravan, since the start of September in order to reach 200,000 students in 100 schools nationwide.

A program was held, to officially launch the program, at the Pasig Elementary School where select moms and students were taught the importance of maintaining proper hygiene in school, as well as learn about the upcoming programs of the Department of Education with the help of DepEd NCR regional director, Wilfredo Cabral.

“The Department of Education welcomes partnerships with private partners like Johnson & Johnson Philippines as we work together in providing our school children with an enabling learning environment with emphasis on ensuring a safe balik-aral,” shared by the regional director for DepEd NCR, Wilfredo Cabral.

Sharing her experience as a mom of 2, the launch event was also hosted by Johnson’s Baby celebrity mombassador Bianca Gonzalez-Intal who talked about how she’s been preparing and protecting her daughters, Lucia and Carmen, as they continue learning and exploring the outdoors again this school year.

“Back when Lucia and Carmen were still doing online school, I always reminded Lucia to make sure she freshens up with Johnson’s Baby Powder– lalo na kapag naglalaro siya in between or after classes. With Carmen naman, I help her apply her powder when needed/ Ngayon na nasa big school na si Lucia and face-to-face classes na din si Carmen, I pack a small bottle of Johnson’s Blossoms powder in their school bags kasi favorite nila yung amoy nito. From time to time, we use different variants of the Johnson’s Baby Powder like the blue one– Active Fresh, Cooling– yung green, especially on super hot days, and yung super bango na Summer Blossoms.” Shared by Celebrity mombassador Bianca Gonzalez–Intal.

A ceremonial turnover of the caravan kits was done to symbolize the donation of Johnson’s Baby products to the Department of Education and Pasig Elementary School.

“We at Johnson’s share the excitement of parents, children, and teachers as schools open once again, since we know that this is an important milestone for all students. And as we all welcome the new school year, we want to support parents as they prepare their kids to begin learning and exploring the outdoors by keeping their kids presko-bango as they enjoy their time in school,” shared Crismer Tiria, associate marketing director of Johnson and Johnson Philippines, Inc.

After visiting the Pasig Elementary School, the festivities continued at Puregold Pasig where shoppers participated in exciting games and won prizes from the brand. Select shoppers were also given the chance to shop for their back-to-school essentials through the Bida Eskwela Hakot Challenge. Moms who joined the challenge were able to bag different school essentials for their kids such as notebooks, coloring materials, snack pambaon, and presko-bango essentials such as Johnson’s Baby powder, shampoo, body wash, and cologne.

“As we enter the next normal, Puregold collaborated with Johnson and Johnson Philippines to reach and educate students with proper hygiene practices and ensure that back-to-school essentials are available in all Puregold stores nationwide,” shared Vincent Co, president, Puregold Price Club Inc.

The caravan continues as it visits more schools around Southern Luzon, Cebu, Davao, and more areas throughout the month to ensure that more kids stay presko-bango this school year.

Keep your kids presko-bango this school year with JOHNSON’S Baby Powder which are available in leading drugstores, supermarkets, and e-commerce platforms nationwide such as Shopee and Lazada.
