Kean Cipriano released his first ever single “Tayuman” following his disengagement from former band Callalily.
This acoustic-ballad kundiman alternative track is about almost lovers that met in the same train station and headed in the opposite direction. The title is a wordplay between the place “Tayuman” and the phrase “Tayo man”, which asks, “if ever it’s us”. It’s about almost-lovers that meet in the same train station headed in the opposite direction. Imagine meeting the one in the right place but only moving further away from him/her.
“Tayuman” was written by Kean, along with Martin Riggs, who is also a singer-songwriter and at the same time an employee of O/C Records.
