Leading telemedicine platform KonsultaMD and the country’s most beloved books and supplies retail chain National Book Store is all set to ensure that students are physically and mentally fit as they return to face-to-face classes.

For every minimum purchase of P299 at the National Book Store, consumers can get a free one-month KonsultaMD health plan for up to five family members. This promo is available in over 214 NBS branches, as well as Art Bar and Kids Ink stores nationwide.

As a special offer, KonsultaMD is also giving away a complimentary Mental Health session with a licensed psychologist for every minimum purchase of P499 in any Art Bar branch. This intends to address mental health issues and burnout among students.

“As classes slowly transition to in-person interactions, there are a lot of concerns from parents to make sure that their kids are prepared and protected for the new school year. We want to ease their worries by offering complimentary healthcare, which they can use within the comforts of their home anytime they want,” said Cholo Tagaysay, KonsultaMD Chief Executive Officer.

“This partnership between KonsultaMD and National Book Store is in line with our commitment to bringing joy to our customers this back-to-school season. It empowers parents to take care of their families while shopping for school supplies as they can enjoy the convenience of not having to make doctor appointments or physically visit a clinic. With this collaboration, we aim to make back to school shopping more rewarding for Filipino families,” said National Book Store managing director Xandra Ramos-Padilla.

KonsultaMD provides 24/7 access to licensed doctors for general and mental health concerns. They can talk to physicians via chat, voice, or video call without any appointment needed.

Members get primary medical advice on basic healthcare and information on any health-related inquiry, which includes the interpretation of laboratory results and diagnostic examinations. They can also access important medical documents such as e-prescriptions, e-laboratory requests, and e-medical certificates.

Anyone can avail of KonsultaMD services on a pay-per-consult basis or monthly and annual subscriptions for as low as P60.
