KROMA Entertainment’s publishing arm Kroma Pub Co. announces its partnership with food content brand Lunch Boxer as it sets its sights on empowering today’s promising Filipino creators.
Lunch Boxer is a food blog that gained momentum over the pandemic, amassing followers across TikTok and Instagram. It posts food hacks, unboxing videos, and stories about small food businesses worth supporting.
A passion project of founder Fil Nacion, Lunch Boxer started as a platform for food and restaurant reviews in 2011. When COVID-19 happened, Nacion stumbled upon a surprise calling: directing friends and followers to small Filipino food businesses just as local entrepreneurs grappled with trying times. He has since combined content with community, and storytelling with advocacy.
As Kroma Pub Co. seeks to amplify the voices of more creators, the group also sees the limitless potential of diverse storytelling in the online space.
“We wanted to see how we, as a publishing group, can elevate the idea of collaboration further. Through this series of partnerships, we not only want to champion today’s most promising storytellers but see how their stories can be told in new, exciting ways,” said Sarah Santiago, Head of Kroma Pub Co.
Kroma Pub Co. endeavors to partner with up-and-coming Filipino content creators for its sister companies FreebieMNL and Wonder.ph, two online lifestyle destinations under tradigital company KROMA Entertainment.
“That’s the beauty of the media publishing landscape today— the sky’s the limit when it comes to how you create and how you get your stories to your readers. It can be a new experience every time,” said Jebby Fronda, B2B Lead of Kroma Pub Co.
Kroma Pub Co allows audiences to connect with their favorite brands, and brands to their consumers via high-quality content provided by its portfolio of digital publishers. It also has B2B solutions such as content strategy development and implementation for web, social and other media; production and management; and tracking and reporting.
