Millennial Resorts, Landco’s hospitality arm will host University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84’s 3×3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament at CaSoBe in Calatagan, Batangas from June 1-3, 2022.
“Landco team is delighted to welcome participants of the UAAP 3×3 basketball tournament to our BeachTowns in Batangas. It will be an amazing experience for everyone to capture the captivating sunset by the shores of CaSoBe after each day’s rigorous competition,” said Gerard Penaflor, Vice President for Marketing, Landco Pacific Corporation.
Millennial Resorts’ newest active sports feature in CaSoBe — 3×3 FIBA basketball court will be the venue of the highly anticipated intercollegiate sports event after a two-year hiatus in 2020-2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The eight participating universities in the UAAP 3×3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament include Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, National University, University of the East, University of the Philippines Diliman, and the University of Santo Tomas.
The young athletes will have easy access to a long stretch of white sand beach in the 15-hectare CaSoBe, one of Landco’s latest BeachTowns that features mixed-use residential and commercial spaces catering to the tourism market. The property showcases breathtaking views of seaside sunsets, a laidback resort lifestyle, and accessibility to nearby golf courses, equestrian clubs, dive spots, cultural, and historical attractions.
They can also recharge in the resort amenities from unconventional accommodation of surreal capsule-like rooms of Cocoons to the EDGE-certified Crusoe Cabins and take a break at Aquaria, a water park with a three-story pool slide. Soon to open facilities are Captain Barbozza restaurant and bar; Canopy, a venue for events that can accommodate 300 persons; and Colony, a co-working space.
The UAAP 3×3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament is also sponsored by PLDT and SMART. Airing of the games will be on TV5 and Signal.
