Multi-Platinum and chart-topping singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Lauv has released the music video for his new single “26.”
Never one to shy away from vulnerability, Lauv takes viewers through his personal experience of “26” in the new video. Directed by Tobias Nathan (Alessia Cara, Miguel), Lauv delves deep into intimate moments and paints a picture of feeling lost and anxious amid his rapid rise in the music industry and ultimately coming to terms with his feelings.
“26” has already garnered over 8 million streams since its release just under two weeks ago and debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Debut Global chart. Featured on dozens of playlists, the release also earned Lauv the cover of Spotify’s coveted “Pop Rising” playlist. “26” has earned widespread critical acclaim as the first single off of his highly anticipated sophomore album, with Billboard hailing Lauv as “…one of pop’s premier songwriters.”
