Mondelez Philippines is once again recognized as one of the recipients of the Best Companies to Work For in 2022 by HR Asia. The organization has won the prestigious award for three consecutive years now! HR Asia recognizes companies that exhibit the best HR practices and demonstrates high levels of engagement and excellent workplace culture across Asia.

By providing ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, investing in employees, and actively hiring people with diverse backgrounds, Mondelez Philippines has continuously built a strong and winning culture for its people. These things make people working with Mondelez Philippines happy and proud to be part of its community.

Despite economic downturns and shifts throughout the year, the company continues to empower people to snack right while ensuring their employees’ well-being is prioritized. Programs and engagements that manifest their purpose to stay loyal to their employees include Purpose Days, Flexible Working Policy, Growing Here Weeks, and other talent training and programs curated for early careers, mid-professionals, and senior leaders.

In a survey conducted within the organization, employees feel valued and appreciated. The results also noted many employees believe that the company provides a safe space for learning and growth whereby cross-functional collaboration, different skills, and proficiency are valued.

Aileen Aumentado, People Lead for Mondelez Philippines, shared that the goal has always been to create more growth opportunities, no matter their role. Further, ensure a safe space for their people where they can thrive, excel, and be their best selves.

“We are happy to share our innovative approaches to equal recruitment with our diversity hiring scheme and extensive support for all our workers. We push these initiatives to address specific needs for both male and female employees, including equal pay and treatment, equal career development, and equal leadership opportunities. We commit to being stronger through our diverse, inclusive, and connected community—trusting each other to work flexibly and productively,” she added.

The company takes the recognition with the responsibility to continue doing what is best for its employees, including ensuring only the best employee experience for their people. Srijit Vijayan, Mondelez Digital Services’ Senior Director People Services Lead for Asia, Middle East, and Africa, highlights “Our approach is highly rooted in our values of loving our consumers and brands. As a people services entity, we aim to provide the right and the best employee experience for our colleagues in Mondelēz International. This includes building a winning growth culture, an inclusive organization, and a people services model built on design thinking and customer centricity.”

These are the experiences that show how culture can make a real difference in a company’s success. When people feel included and celebrated in their workplace, they’re more likely to be productive and engaged, which in turn leads to better business results.

The virtual awards ceremony for the HR Asia Best Companies to Work For in Asia is available in their official YouTube channel.
