If this summer season is any indication, it seems more Filipinos are starting to regain their lives returning to their pre-pandemic routine. Many are exploring more places, as if on a “revenge travel” mode.

A forecast from the Department of Tourism (DOT) noted that domestic trips may reach 84.8 million in 2022. This is 90 percent of the total number of domestic trips in 2019.

Market intelligence firm, Colliers Philippines, also believes that domestic tourists will boost the tourism sector once again. This is due to eased travel restrictions both here and abroad. The Holy Week 2022 served as a proof point.

From Baguio to Boracay, we’ve seen hordes of Filipino tourists visiting for their “much-needed break”. The City Tourism Office of Baguio showed that the city has more than 80,000 approved travel registrations arriving from April 8 to 17. As for Boracay, news report mentioned that more than 21,000 tourists arrived in the province.

True to its slogan, “Fuel for Adventure”, Mountain Dew is joining Filipinos across the world in discovering more about life beyond the pandemic. Together, seeking thrills and restarting the fun as we move forward to living in a post-pandemic future.

“We are thrilled to see more people taking in new adventures this summer. It is a stark contrast to how we were living our lives during the same period last year. These days, we are almost resuming where we left off—slowly but surely and safely. A bottle of Mountain Dew could be a good pair in fueling our days ahead,” said Frederick D. Ong, president and chief executive officer of Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country.

Mountain Dew is available in 8 oz to 1L glass bottles, 250 ml to 330 ml cans, and 300 ml to 2.25L PET bottles. It also recently launched its new 850ml PET bottle serving in Luzon and 1L bottle serving in Visayas and Mindanao. Get all these in supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, and sari-sari stores nationwide.

PCPPI is the exclusive manufacturer of well-known beverage brands like Pepsi-Cola, 7-Up, Mirinda, Mug, Gatorade, Tropicana, Lipton, Sting, Premier, Milkis, and Aquafina.
