Ring in the Love Alarm – South Korean actor Song Kang is the new face of Penshoppe!
Top fashion brand Penshoppe announced last February 18 that the Forecasting Love and Weather actor is joining its roster of world-renowned endorsers. Starring in his first campaign for the Filipino-grown brand, Song Kang sports Penshoppe’s newest Retro Pop collection – a line of retro-themed classic pieces perfect for the everyday summer living lifestyle.

In an exclusive interview with Penshoppe, Song Kang reveals that working with the brand has been “a unique and enjoyable experience.” He says, “I was able to try on various styles that I like and introduce them to my Filipino fans. I hope that this will be an opportunity for many people to find joy in fashion while trying new styles with me and Penshoppe.”
As an enthusiast for casual styles, his new role as an ambassador of Penshoppe – the go-to brand for elevated everyday and youthful fashion – was an undeniably perfect fit.
“My personal style is quite casual,” Song Kang explains. “Rather than dressing up, I prefer a more comfortable and trendy style. I’ve always been quite interested in fashion, so I try to be attentive to new trends, which I think Penshoppe [can help me with].”
As to what he’s anticipating the most in his journey as the brand’s new ambassador, he says he is excited to be exposed to and experience the Filipino culture through Penshoppe’s collection of styles.
“I’m looking forward to experiencing the culture and style [that is different] from Korean fashion brands,” the Penshoppe ambassador enthused. “There is also the excitement of being able to try on similar yet new styles.”
Song Kang is hoping to visit the Philippines as soon as all is well, but for now, he’s making do with a heartfelt greeting and a lot of love to give to his Filipino fans:

Song Kang joins Penshoppe’s roster of international ambassadors, which includes BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Astro’s Cha Eun-woo, actor Nam Joo-Hyuk, former 2NE1 member Sandara Park, and top models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, among others. He rose to hallyu fame after starring in the hit K-Drama series Love Alarm, Nevertheless, and Navillera. He currently plays the role of Lee Si-woo, the lead in the ongoing Netflix series Forecasting Love and Weather.
